[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] A small fishing boat capsized off the northern West Sea near Soyeonpyeongdo Island, resulting in four crew members missing.
According to the Incheon Coast Guard on the 14th, at around 6:07 PM, a 12-ton vessel named A capsized 43 km off the coast of Soyeonpyeongdo, Ongjin-gun, Incheon.
Four crew members aboard vessel A are missing, while one crew member was rescued by a nearby ship.
Vessel A was confirmed to have departed from Gunsan, Jeonbuk, and the crew were working on the deck at the time of the accident.
The Coast Guard has deployed patrol vessels and nearby fishing boats to the accident area to search for the missing persons.
