[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Bongsan Senior Center Opening Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 13th at 2 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of Bongsan Senior Center (Sanggye 1-dong).
Since its establishment in 2004, Bongsan Senior Center had been used by about 30 elderly people in a temporary building less than 10 pyeong in size. The district purchased nearby land, constructed a 40.55㎡ building, and remodeled it by connecting it to the existing building through a linking construction to allow continued use.
The opening ceremony was held with about 30 attendees including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Choi Yoon-nam, Chairperson of Nowon District Council, and senior citizens, proceeding in the order of greetings, unveiling ceremony, facility tour, and commemorative photo session.
