Uljin-gun Completes Honey Concentration Facility... Beekeeping Farms Available Year-Round
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 11th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a completion ceremony for a high-quality honey concentration facility in Sogok-ri, Buk-myeon, with about 100 attendees including heads of local organizations and beekeeping farmers, in celebration of Farmers' Day.
According to Uljin-gun on the 13th, the high-quality honey concentration facility located at the Northern Branch of the Agricultural Machinery Rental Project at the Agricultural Technology Center was built with an investment of 310 million KRW. It has a building area of 150㎡ and is equipped with a low-temperature concentration room, pollen dough room for feed, and a machine room. This facility will be available year-round for beekeeping farms in Uljin-gun starting from December 1.
Uljin-gun explained that with the completion of this concentration facility, local beekeeping farms, which had experienced inconveniences using distant concentration facilities, will be able to produce high-quality honey in a timely manner and create high added value through processing and sales.
