Promoting Untact Donation Culture through Business Agreement with Jogyesa Temple
Shinhan Bank signed a business agreement with Jogyesa Temple at the Gwaneumjeon Hall of Jogyesa, located on Ujeongguk-ro in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 5th. The Untact Donation Service was planned to ensure the safety and transaction convenience of religious institutions and customers due to the prohibition of face-to-face and group activities and the spread of untact culture. When a religious institution opens a donation account with Shinhan Bank, it receives a URL linked to the account. Sending this URL to believers allows those who wish to donate to do so through mobile phone authentication via the URL.
In particular, donations can be made without installing a separate application (app) or signing up, and donations can be withdrawn not only from Shinhan Bank accounts but also from other banks' accounts, making it easy to donate.
Earlier, on the 5th, Shinhan Bank signed a business agreement with Jogyesa Temple to promote a beautiful untact donation culture and established the 'Jogyesa Dedicated Donation Page' for the first time. Jogyesa Temple is the representative temple of the Jogye Order, the largest Buddhist sect, and Jogyesa Buddhists can access the URL to make untact donations to Jogyesa.
