Kim Junsung, Yeonggwang County Governor, Visits National Assembly to Secure Next Year's Budget
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Kim Junsung, Governor of Yeonggwang County, Jeonnam, visited the National Assembly on the 12th to meet with party leader Lee Nak-yeon and lawmaker Lee Gae-ho to explain next year's national treasury pending projects and national treasury increase proposal projects, requesting party-level cooperation and support to secure project funds.
During the meeting, the county proposed support for next year's e-Mobility Expo, digitization of roads and underground facilities, and the Yeonggwang-eup sewage pipeline maintenance project, explaining the necessity of the national support for the expansion project of National Road No. 77 (Yeonggwang Baeksu Daesin District).
In particular, the National Road No. 77 (Yeonggwang Baeksu Daesin District) expansion project is a project to widen and pave the Baeksu Coastal Road (National Road No. 77), a representative tourist road of the southwestern coast, which has severe curves and narrow lanes posing traffic accident risks.
They also requested active cooperation to promote the project for the remaining sections and unopened sections of the dangerous road improvement project, covering 3.6 km (0.9 km lane widening, 2.7 km two-lane expansion).
The county held a separate meeting to emphasize the need for national treasury support to continuously hold the e-Mobility Expo as an international event and to establish a stable foundation for future expo hosting, proposing the securing of project funds.
