Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education to Publicly Recruit 60 Disabled Workers Next Year

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 10th that it will publicly recruit 60 disabled workers at its affiliated educational institutions through next year's Disabled Youth Dream Work Project.
This was announced at the '2021 Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Disabled Youth Dream Work Project Briefing Session' held on the 6th and 10th for officials in charge of educational support offices, public libraries, and special schools in the Jeonnam region.
Under the theme "Equal Career Vision for All! Creating a Vocational Society Together," this briefing session was organized to enhance the understanding of the project among officials and to create jobs for disabled people within educational institutions under the Office of Education.
Through this project, 60 disabled workers will be publicly recruited next year to perform duties such as cleaning assistance, librarian assistance, and disabled student activity assistance at educational support offices, public libraries, and special schools in the Jeonnam region.
In addition, pre-education and job training will be provided to the successful candidates to improve their job skills and adaptability to the field.
Park Kyung-hee, Director of Secondary Education, said, "I hope this meaningful project will provide quality jobs for disabled people in public educational institutions in Jeonnam Province, expanding opportunities for their successful social transition and independence." She added, "We will continue to make efforts to expand employment opportunities for disabled people."
