Concerns Over COVID-19 Spread from White House
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Key external aides and cabinet ministers leading former President Donald Trump's lawsuits challenging the presidential election results have consecutively tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Bloomberg News on the 9th (local time), David Bossie, an advisor leading Trump's election result challenge lawsuits, tested positive for COVID-19. He received a positive test result before meeting President Trump.
Earlier, when White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was diagnosed with COVID-19, President Trump reportedly asked Advisor Bossie to manage post-election strategies. However, with Bossie also infected, he became unable to participate in meetings related to post-election response plans. CNBC and other broadcasters reported that he could not attend meetings at the White House or the campaign office.
Notably, Advisor Bossie previously attended a Republican press conference alleging election fraud in Arizona. Many Arizona Republican politicians were present at the press conference and were also subject to testing.

Advisor Bossie is not a legal professional but a former politician who served as deputy director of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign headquarters and currently leads the conservative civic group Citizens United.
Additionally, Ben Carson, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, also tested positive for COVID-19.
