Gwangju University Career Development Center Leads Promotion of Youth Employment Policies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University is actively promoting youth employment policies that students can utilize.
The Gwangju University University Job Center announced on the 10th that it held a 'Youth Employment Policy Competition' for enrolled students to raise awareness and improve utilization of youth employment policies supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and others.
A total of 226 people participated in the online preliminary round, and the competition, held with great interest, included questions related to youth employment policies, the National Competency Standards (NCS), the Labor Standards Act, overseas employment, and more.
Through the main round in the format of a Challenge Golden Bell, student Kim Ji-won (Department of Police Law and Administration, 2nd year) won the grand prize, and seven others, including student Lee Min-seon (Department of Social Welfare, 3rd year), received the highest and excellence awards.

Yoon Hong-sang, head of the Gwangju University University Job Center, said, “This competition was organized to raise awareness of youth employment policies and the University Job Center projects and to enable students to actively utilize the necessary policies.”
