Fire at Gumi City Manure Treatment Facility... 160 Million Won in Damages
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] At around 11:24 PM on the 9th, a fire broke out at a manure treatment facility located in Sandong-myeon, Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
The fire burned factory buildings and caused property damage estimated at about 160 million won (according to the fire station). It was completely extinguished at 1:04 AM on the 10th, 1 hour and 40 minutes later. There were no casualties.
Since the facility is close to the Nakdong River, there are concerns about water pollution in the Nakdong River due to the water used for firefighting.
