Suncheon Fire Station Holds Ceremony for the 58th Firefighters' Day Celebration
"Pledge to 'Protecting the Lives of the People is the Mission of Firefighting'"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon Fire Station (Chief Ha Soo-cheol) announced on the 9th that it held a Firefighters' Day commemorative event at the main building's 3rd-floor auditorium, attended by about 80 people including firefighters and volunteer firefighters.
The 58th Firefighters' Day commemorative event was organized to encourage firefighters who have devoted themselves to protecting the lives and property of the people, to boost firefighters' pride, and to spread a culture of safety.
This event was held as a small-scale in-house event without inviting external guests due to COVID-19, and recognized firefighters and volunteer firefighters who were active in various disaster scenes such as fire suppression and rescue, as well as contributors to the development of fire administration, appreciating their hard work.
