KMA Announces Winners of 'Nalssiallimi' App Improvement Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced the winners of the 'Weather Informer' application improvement proposal contest on the 9th.
A total of 134 teams participated in this contest, and through the first proposal plan and the second main proposal review, 15 teams competed in the final round.
The contest, divided into functionality, design, and promotion categories, awarded a total of 9 teams, including 1 grand prize team and 2 excellence award teams.
The grand prize was awarded to the 'GSWDM' team from Gachon University, which participated in the functionality category and proposed visual materials related to precipitation and wind speed, as well as job-specific customized notification features. In the design category, the 'Bosejo' team from Myongji University, which suggested naming the Weather Informer app, adding illustrations, and proposing new design icons, was selected. The excellence award in the promotion category went to the 'Nalsibaraegi' team from Yeungnam University, which proposed the 'Param' project containing family stories.
