Songpa-gu Announces Revised Plan Deleting 'Review of North-South Traffic Axis in Familia Apartment Complex'... "Will Systematically Manage Urban Development by Collecting Residents' Opinions"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) announced that it has proposed the newly established Munjeong Residential District Unit Plan to Seoul City, reflecting residents' opinions submitted during the re-notification period, and Seoul City accepted it, leading to its official decision and announcement on October 29.
The Munjeong Residential District Unit Plan announced this time is a revised plan considering residents' concerns that the 'north-south traffic axis' recommended during the reconstruction of Olympic Family Apartments might lead to immediate road openings or become a fait accompli.
The district actively reflected numerous residents' opinions submitted during the re-notification of the decision plan, which incorporated the results of the Seoul City Urban and Architectural Joint Committee review (July 2020), and deleted the 'north-south traffic axis review' content from Article 36 of the implementation guidelines (a recommendation to be reviewed during the reconstruction of Olympic Family Apartments).
Additionally, ▲ four items related to multi-family housing in the implementation guidelines were adjusted into one item stating 'multi-family housing sites, etc., will be designated and managed as general lots and designated as special planning zones during future reconstruction,' ▲ commercial sites in quasi-residential areas were decided with a standard floor area ratio of up to 300%, allowable floor area ratio up to 400%, maximum height of 75?80m for main roads, and up to 35m for side streets.

Mayor Park Seong-su stated, “Through the new establishment of the Munjeong Residential District Unit Plan, we will systematically manage the city along with the development of surrounding areas,” and added, “We will continue to gather and reflect opinions from all walks of life and residents as much as possible when establishing plans.”
