[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen congratulated Joe Biden on Twitter on the 8th after reports emerged that Biden had won the U.S. presidential election.
President Tsai said, "Now it is my turn to congratulate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who were elected president and vice president," and posted the congratulatory tweet that Biden sent when she was re-elected on January 12 this year.
President Tsai wrote, "The values that have built our relationship could not be stronger," adding, "I look forward to cooperating to advance our friendship and contributions to the international community."
