[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] CUSMS announced on the 8th that it will also release the winning menu of 'New Product Launch Convenience Restaurant' as a meal kit.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Convenience Restaurant broadcast, CU plans to release meal kits in addition to finished products whenever a winning dish is selected. This is the first time CU has officially introduced a meal kit product developed in-house.
In the last broadcast, Lee Kyung-kyu, leveraging his experience of presenting major noodle dish hits such as Majangmyeon and Angry Cream Jjolmyeon on Convenience Restaurant, introduced the 17th winning menu 'Bokdwaejimyeon,' a reinterpretation of Busan pork soup as ramen.
Bokdwaejimyeon will be released in two versions: a meal kit and a ready-to-eat product. The meal kit is designed for customers who want a highly complete dish, while the ready-to-eat product targets customers who want to enjoy it easily in the microwave without cooking utensils.
The 'Bokdwaejimyeon Meal Kit' is completed by boiling pork bone broth base, pork toppings, and ramen noodles in boiling water over high heat for 3 minutes and 30 seconds, then adding chives, soft-boiled egg garnish, and drizzling with all-purpose flavored oil. The price is 7,900 KRW.
The ready-to-eat 'Bokdwaejimyeon' is prepared by adding green onions, pork toppings, and powdered soup to the noodles, pouring hot water, and microwaving for 4 minutes. The price is 3,500 KRW.
