Hwasun-gun to Implement 'Revised Social Distancing Level 1' Starting from the 7th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) will implement new social distancing quarantine measures starting from the 7th.
According to the county on the 6th, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters recently subdivided social distancing from 3 levels to 5 levels and reorganized the facility risk assessment system from a three-tier structure of high, medium, and low-risk facilities to a two-tier structure of priority and general management facilities.
Accordingly, the county held a countermeasure meeting with heads of departments and offices on the 5th to discuss the social distancing restructuring plan and departmental and facility-specific action plans, deciding to implement Level 1 (everyday quarantine).
With the implementation of social distancing, national and public facilities will operate according to facility-specific quarantine guidelines, while social welfare facilities, nursing homes, and nursing hospitals will provide non-face-to-face services concurrently.
Senior centers will prohibit meals and limit the number of people to one person per 4㎡, and Nadeuri Welfare Center will prohibit meals and limit the number of participants to fewer than 20 per program.
Public libraries will implement seating with one seat spacing, and public indoor sports facilities will limit the number of users to fewer than 50 and restrict users to Hwasun-gun residents.
Baegasan Natural Recreation Forest will open only facilities with fewer than 10-person rooms, and Hancheon Natural Recreation Forest forest camping site and Manyeonsan Healing Forest will limit the number of users to half capacity.
Religious activities will implement one-seat spacing during regular worship services and Buddhist ceremonies, recommend refraining from gatherings and meals, and prohibit overnight events.
Karaoke rooms must disinfect immediately after room use and allow reuse after 30 minutes, and restaurants and cafes must maintain a 1-meter distance between tables, complying with facility-specific quarantine rules.
Indoor facilities, including high-risk priority and general management facilities, must comply with core quarantine rules such as wearing masks, managing visitor logs, ventilation, and disinfection.
In particular, if a meeting or event exceeds 500 participants, the organizer must establish a quarantine management plan, report it to the county department in charge, and consult accordingly.
The county plans to promote the revised social distancing quarantine rules during the publicity period and start enforcement from the 13th, imposing fines for violations.
