The 'Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center' is a specialized educational institution for future technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution that allows people to experience the flow of change toward the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and prepare for the future. It opened nationwide for the first time in 2017 and operates future technology experience programs for various age groups, from infants to the elderly, as well as students.
This festival was prepared to provide an opportunity to experience new technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution in the untact era through online and offline methods and to cultivate the potential to respond to future society.
The festival opens on the 7th with a special lecture by KAIST professor and neuroscientist Jung Jae-seung, who appeared on the TV program 'Alssul Sinjab' and approached viewers with easy and interesting science stories, titled 'In the Age of Artificial Intelligence, Where Are the Future Opportunities?'
At 1 p.m. on the same day, a presentation contest will be held for the 'Smart Inclusive City 4.0 Youth Researcher Project,' where teenagers directly identify urban problems such as transportation, environment, and welfare, and find solutions using 4th Industrial Revolution technologies.
An 'Online and Offline Future Technology Experience Zone' where various future technologies can be experienced will also be operated. On the 7th, 9th, and 11th, programs utilizing future technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), VR·AR, mobile apps, and game coding can be experienced at home through the online platform (Zoom), and visitors to the center can enjoy the experience booths throughout the event period.
Additionally, on the 10th and 12th, 'Future Job Online Mentoring' for career and job selection in the fields of robotics and AI will be conducted via real-time consultation on YouTube, and videos of 'Ontact Parent Special Lectures' by three experts in future education, future careers, and future competencies will be provided through the website.
