The purpose of this business agreement is to activate the transition from bunker C oil to liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel at facilities in Gyeonggi Province by utilizing Midland Power's small and medium-sized enterprise win-win greenhouse gas reduction project and emissions trading system.
Midland Power plans to support participating companies from government-certified consulting to emissions permit purchases to expedite the project. It is expected that approximately 200,000 tons of greenhouse gases can be reduced over 10 years after the project is completed.
