Gyeongju City Hosts Online Export Consultation with Overseas Buyers... Focus on Vietnam and India
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Gyeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced on the 5th that it will hold the '2020 Overseas Buyer Online Export Consultation' at 10 a.m. on the 12th at The-K Hotel.
Following last year, Gyeongju City has invited 20 prominent buyers from New Northern and New Southern countries (13 from Vietnam, 4 from India, 2 from South Africa, and 1 from Japan) to hold the consultation online in an untact manner.
About 50 companies producing competitive export products such as food, cosmetics, consumer goods, and automobile parts will participate in this event. According to Gyeongju City, to minimize the drawbacks of online consultations, some products will be sent in advance so that overseas buyers can preview them beforehand.
A Gyeongju City official stated, "After online consultations between overseas buyers and companies, remote MOU agreements using video systems will be made, which is expected to present new meeting technologies and regional development plans for the local export industry in the post-COVID-19 era."
