Prosecutors Request Arrest Warrants for Two Key Lobbyists in the Optimus Case
[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The prosecution has requested pre-arrest warrants for two key lobbyists involved in the Optimus Asset Management (Optimus) fund fraud case.
According to the prosecution on the 5th, the Economic Crime Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Joo Mincheol) filed arrest warrants yesterday against Mr. Ki Mo and Mr. Kim Mo on charges including violation of the Attorney-at-Law Act, breach of trust mediation, and violation of the Commercial Act.

Additionally, Mr. Lee Mo, a director of the cosmetics company Skin&Skin, who is suspected of participating in Optimus's 'fund rollover' scheme, was indicted on charges including embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.
