The Financial Services Commission announced on the 5th, "Chairman Eun tested negative for COVID-19 and is scheduled to attend the National Assembly Budget and Accounts Special Committee's comprehensive policy inquiry today."
Chairman Eun visited the funeral hall of the late Lee Kun-hee, Chairman of Samsung Group, on the 26th of last month. After a COVID-19 case was confirmed at the same location, he postponed all official schedules on the previous day (the 4th) and underwent testing.
Chairman Eun attended the full meeting of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee in the morning of the previous day but left to get tested. Consequently, the Political Affairs Committee adjourned early after about 90 minutes from the start.
