How About 'Walking Alone' to Protect Your Health and Mind?
Jongno-gu to Promote 'Healthy Body! Strong Mind! Walking Alone' Project Until the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jongno-gu (District Mayor Kim Young-jong) is promoting the "Healthy and Strong! Strong Mind! Walking Alone" project until the 30th to revitalize health walking clubs.
The "Walking Alone" project was devised to support residents in maintaining their physical and mental health in response to the COVID-19 situation, based on discussions held over four sessions this summer with local health walking clubs.
The target participants are 410 members of health walking clubs within Jongno-gu.
To participate, individuals must register with their real names on the "Jongno-gu Walking Club" Naver Cafe, then practice walking activities using the health walking trail map or discover new health walking trails and post at least two photos of their walking activities on the club cafe.
Those who are not currently members of a health walking club but wish to participate in "Walking Alone" can join online through the district office website if they reside locally, or register via their local community service center or the Health Promotion Division of the public health center before participating.
Jongno-gu plans to provide mobile beverage coupons worth 10,000 KRW to the first 100 outstanding participants to encourage active participation.
For more details about "Walking Alone," please refer to the district office website or contact the Jongno-gu Health City Division.
