HB Entertainment Appoints Na Byung-jun as Head of Management Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] HB Entertainment has recruited former Fantagio CEO Na Byung-jun as the head of its management division.
On the 4th, HB Entertainment announced plans to strengthen the synergy between drama production and actor management by collaborating with CEO Na, who has expertise in artist discovery, planning, and business. CEO Na expressed his determination, saying, "I will devote all my capabilities to ensure mutual growth and coexistence between our affiliated actors and the company."
HB Entertainment also reorganized its drama division. Yoon Go-woon, CEO of its subsidiary Film Boutique, will take charge as the head of planning for the drama division, which has produced numerous hits such as "SKY Castle," "My Love from the Star," and "My Daughter Seo-young." Yoon, a veteran producer known for planning dramas that combine artistic quality and popularity like "Kill Me, Heal Me," "Doctors," and "Marriage Contract," will be responsible for overall intellectual property (IP) planning.

Additionally, HB Entertainment’s affiliate film company Lee Chang is set to meet audiences next year with its new release "Killer Romance." This musical film tells the story of a former actress who retired after marrying an island nation conglomerate and her encounters with a neighboring student retaking the college entrance exam. The film is directed by Lee Won-seok, known for "Man’s Manual."
