Prosecutors Summarily Indict Im Seul-ong for Causing Death of Jaywalking Pedestrian
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The Criminal Division 2 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Jong-ho) announced on the 3rd that singer and actor Lim Seul-ong (33), formerly of the vocal group 2AM, was summarily indicted for fatally striking a pedestrian who was jaywalking.
On August 1st at around 11:50 p.m., Lim was driving an SUV on a road in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, when he hit a man who was jaywalking against the pedestrian stop signal at a crosswalk. The accident victim was taken to a nearby hospital but died.

The police found that Lim was partially at fault and referred the case to the prosecution on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.
