[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 3rd, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, commented on former President Lee Myung-bak being sentenced to 17 years in prison by the Supreme Court and re-incarcerated, saying, "Once all the trials for former presidents are completely over, it would be good if President Moon Jae-in generously granted a pardon."
On the same day, on tbs radio's 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory,' Ha said, "(The timing of the pardon) should be after all trials are finished, since former President Park Geun-hye is also involved," and added, "I would like to ask for some consideration regarding the pardon."
