Apple Likely to Unveil Another MacBook with In-House Chip on November 10
13- and 16-inch MacBook Pro, 13-inch MacBook Air Expected to Be Unveiled
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Apple will unveil a new MacBook model equipped with its own chip on the 10th (local time).
On the 3rd, Apple announced that it will hold an Apple Special Event at Apple Park, the company's headquarters in the United States, starting at 10 a.m. on November 10th (local time). The invitation sent to the media included the phrase "One more thing." This expression was often used by Apple's late founder Steve Jobs when unveiling innovative new products at the end of Apple events.
It is expected that Apple will reveal three Mac models equipped with its own chipset, the "Apple Silicon Processor," at its third event of the second half of the year. According to Bloomberg and others, the products to be unveiled on that day are likely to be the 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and the 13-inch MacBook Air.
Although the chipset will be replaced with a self-designed product, the MacBook's form factor will remain the same. The new MacBook will be equipped with a 5nm chip based on the A14 used in the iPhone 12, which is expected to improve power efficiency and performance.
