Starting with a Free Special Lecture on Youth Online Mall Entrepreneurship
Dongdaemun-gu Offers 3 Free Practical Online Shopping Mall Startup Lectures for Youth This Month... Civil Service Exam Prep, Design & Video Editing Mentoring, and Photoshop Practical Classes Also Conducted Online
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol), which has been operating the ‘2020 Dongdaemun-gu Youth Employment and Startup Academy’ program since September for young people preparing for employment and startups, is opening the ‘Practical Online Shopping Mall Startup Course Using Smart Store’ this month and offering online lectures for free.
The program consists of three sessions: ‘Preparation for Startup → Beginning of Startup → Startup Promotion,’ each lasting 4 hours, totaling 12 hours.
The district designed the program so that any youth interested in or preparing for one-person shopping mall startups can participate.
Additionally, programs that can provide practical help to youth are prepared, including ▲ Civil Service Exam Preparation A to Z ▲ Mentoring by current professionals in design and video editing ▲ Practical Photoshop skills for immediate use ▲ Startup preparation advice from cafe entrepreneurs.
Applications can be made through the Dongdaemun-gu Office website under district news (search ‘Youth Employment and Startup Academy’) or via the MyOn Job application page.
The district has structured the program to keep pace with the times and reflect the interests of youth, making it practically helpful, and operates the program in a non-face-to-face education format so that more young people can participate even amid the COVID-19 situation.
