Comedian Park Ji-sun Found Dead at Home with Mother... No Signs of Trauma (Comprehensive Report 2)
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Comedian Park Ji-seon (36) was found dead on the afternoon of the 2nd.
According to the Mapo Police Station in Seoul, Park was found dead at her home in Mapo-gu, Seoul, along with her mother.
Park’s father found it suspicious that his daughter and wife were not answering their phones and reported it. When the police arrived and entered the house, both were found deceased. A Mapo Police Station official stated, "A note resembling a suicide letter, believed to have been written by Park’s mother, was discovered," adding, "The contents cannot be disclosed."
There were no external injuries found on Park or her mother. The police have decided to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death and are investigating the circumstances by questioning those around them.
It is reported that Park’s mother had come to Seoul and was living with Park. Park had been undergoing treatment for a chronic illness.
