Dongshin University Department of Nursing Operates 'Korean-Style Basic Life Support Training Course'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Department of Nursing at Dongshin University announced on the 2nd that it conducted the "2020 Korean Basic Life Support (KBLS-Provider) Training Course for Healthcare Professionals" for 72 third-year students on the 31st of last month.
The students learned life-saving response skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency treatment during urgent situations, from about 10 external professional instructors.
They completed the KBLS-Provider certification course after theoretical education and practical training on adult, child, and pediatric CPR through video materials, followed by written and practical evaluations.

Oh Seong-rok, Director of the Dongshin University Career Center, said, "The need for emergency treatment education, including CPR, is gradually increasing," and added, "It is essential safety education for real life and is expected to become a basic career skill for employment."
