[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 2nd that it will hold the '2020 2nd KB Good Job Excellent Companies Online Job Fair,' which anyone in the nation can participate in anytime and anywhere through the KB Good Job website and mobile app. This job fair will be held for two weeks until the 13th.
Participating recruiting companies in the job fair will be provided with various benefits to ease the burden of labor and financial costs. A hiring support fund of 1 million KRW per regular employee hired will be provided, up to a maximum of 10 million KRW per company, and companies excelling in job creation will receive an interest rate preferential benefit of up to 1.3 percentage points.
Since this job fair is conducted online, anyone in the nation can participate anytime and anywhere through a PC or the KB Good Job dedicated mobile app.
On the online platform, real-time two-way support is provided for job applications and job offers between job seekers and recruiting companies participating in the fair. For the first time in the KB Good Job job fair, a ‘video interview’ system has been introduced, and considering the convenience of HR managers, it is conducted by providing interview videos of job seekers rather than real-time interviews. Additionally, to improve the success rate of job seekers, more diverse employment support content is provided in a one-stop manner compared to the first half job fair.
For the first time in the KB Good Job job fair, video interviews are operated to support document screening between job seekers and recruiting companies. Also provided are ▲‘Industry-specific Hiring Trends’ introducing hiring trends in emerging industries of the 4th Industrial Revolution such as AI, autonomous driving, and data scientists ▲online employment consulting conducted by professional employment consultants including company and job analysis, self-introduction letter, and interview consulting ▲video employment lectures covering employment success strategies such as how to write self-introduction letters and guides for non-face-to-face interviews ▲online vocational psychological tests to support career choice through understanding psychological traits ▲‘KB SOHO Consulting’ providing comprehensive consulting for successful startups for job seekers interested in entrepreneurship ▲and the ‘PR Challenge’ program in cooperation with the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, a related organization of KB Good Job, aimed at improving job seekers’ perception of small and medium-sized enterprises.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “We hope this job fair becomes a ‘meeting place’ where job seekers can find jobs to realize their dreams and companies can secure future growth engines for tomorrow’s happiness,” and added, “We will continue to strive to be the ‘nation’s lifelong financial partner’ leading ‘finance that changes the world’ through not only job creation but also various social contribution activities.”
