Daelim Construction Urban Maintenance Orders Surpass 1 Trillion Won... "1.3 Trillion Goal Within the Year"

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Daelim Construction, formed by the merger of Samho and Goryeo Development, has surpassed 1 trillion KRW in orders for urban maintenance projects.
Daelim Construction announced on the 2nd that it was selected as the construction company for the Daejeon Okgye 2 District Housing Redevelopment Maintenance Project, worth 269.7 billion KRW, on the 31st of last month. With this, the company has achieved a total of 1.0746 trillion KRW in orders this year. The Okgye 2 District will include 21 apartment buildings with 1,492 households and auxiliary welfare facilities.
This year, Daelim Construction consecutively secured redevelopment maintenance projects starting with the Incheon Geumsong District, followed by Daejeon Samsung 1 District, Incheon Songwol, and Daejeon Okgye 2 District. In particular, the Incheon Geumsong District redevelopment is a large-scale project creating 26 apartment buildings with 3,965 households and auxiliary welfare facilities, with a total project cost of 628.9 billion KRW. Among these, Daelim Construction’s share is 503.1 billion KRW, marking the largest scale in the company’s urban maintenance project orders to date.
Daelim Construction, merged from Samho and Goryeo Development on July 1st, is actively targeting medium to large-scale projects in the metropolitan area and provincial metropolitan cities based on the competitiveness of the 'e-Pyeonhansesang' brand and its expanded scale.

A Daelim Construction official stated, “We expect to secure a total of 1.3 trillion KRW in urban maintenance project orders by the end of this year,” adding, “We will further strengthen our pursuit of medium to large-scale projects in the metropolitan area and provinces, and expand our reach to Seoul, aiming to become a new powerhouse in the maintenance market.”
