Hana Bank Launches Salary Advance Service for Freelancers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank announced on the 2nd that it has partnered with fintech (finance + technology) startup Emmaus to launch an advance salary payment service for freelancers and part-time workers.
This service is provided through the attendance and payroll management system application ‘Paywatch’ developed by Emmaus. Users and workers can easily create labor contracts through the app, verify clock-in and clock-out based on GPS information, and accumulate working hours as mileage that can be converted into cash.
Through this partnership, ‘Paywatch’ app users can receive advance payments of accumulated work mileage at an annual rate of 6% through Hana Bank, and can also check the actual salary details after settling the advance payment and fees.
