[Breaking] Another 11 Confirmed Cases on Russian Ship Docked at Busan Gamcheon Port
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Eleven crew members on a Russian vessel that docked at Busan Gamcheon Port have tested positive in large numbers.
The Busan National Quarantine Station announced on the 31st that 11 Russian crew members aboard the Russian ship Geroy Damanskova (2,354 tons) tested positive.
The ship, carrying 40 Russian crew members, docked at Gamcheon Port Pier 4 on the afternoon of the 29th. It is known that the ship entered Gamcheon Port to unload cargo and undergo repairs.
The quarantine station conducted diagnostic tests on all crew members according to guidelines that require testing of all crew if there is a high possibility of contact with Koreans or if the ship departed from Russia.
