[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) will hold the ‘2020 1st Dongdaemun-gu Youth Week Event’ from November 2 to 8 to commemorate Youth Day, a legally designated memorial day, and to create a youth culture of togetherness through building consensus.
This Youth Week event, themed ‘Dongdaemun-gu Youth’s Steaming! Sweating! Running!’, sets three themes: ▲Youth, it’s okay to take a little more time! ▲Youth, it’s okay to sweat a little more! ▲Youth, it’s okay to run! Various programs will be held to comfort young people going through difficult times and to share a culture that youth can enjoy together.
Under the theme ‘Youth, it’s okay to take a little more time!’, programs such as ▲Walking Alone Challenge (November 2?8) and ▲Employment Mentoring by Current Professionals for Youth Future Planning (November 8) will be held to promote youth health and career exploration while walking along Cheonggyecheon and Naksan trails.
The Employment Mentoring by Current Professionals for Youth Future Planning will be held offline on November 8 from 2 PM for three hours in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office.
This program offers employment mentoring by current professionals to Dongdaemun-gu youth aspiring to work at global companies such as Amorepacific, Google, Amazon, and Nike, and participation is possible through prior registration.
