Smart Store and Drive-Thru Flea Market Conducted Simultaneously Online and Offline
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will participate in the 2020 Online Small-Scale Farmers Expo held for three days from the 29th to the 31st.
This Small-Scale Farmers Expo will be conducted online through the Small-Scale Farmers Expo homepage and the Rural Development Administration’s YouTube channel considering the COVID-19 situation.
The county’s small-scale farmers will post promotional videos for agricultural product sales on the YouTube channel ‘Boseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center’ and hold discount sales events for agricultural products using Smart Store.
Also, starting from the 30th, offline sales will be conducted simultaneously, operating a drive-thru style agricultural product flea market targeting tourists visiting Boseong at the Yulpo Pine Beach area in Hoecheon-myeon, and various events for consumers will be held.
Mr. Chae Mo, a small-scale farmer participating in the event, said, “Through the agricultural product sales flea market where we can interact with consumers, we will be able to widely promote the excellent agricultural products of Boseong-gun,” and added, “We will do our best to prepare so that consumers visiting the flea market will be satisfied.”
Yang Donghoe, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “We are actively promoting participation in the Small-Scale Farmers Expo, which is a great opportunity to strengthen the capabilities of Boseong-gun’s small-scale farmers and demonstrate their competitiveness, and we hope many people will have the chance to experience the excellent agricultural products produced by Boseong-gun’s small-scale farmers.”
