[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Longtu Korea announced on the 29th that its subsidiary Lantu Games will service ‘TERA Classic’ in the Japanese market through Gravity Game Arise (GGA), a subsidiary of Korea's Gravity (GV).
‘TERA Classic,’ developed by Lantu Games over a period of more than three years and officially released domestically last August, is a mobile MMORPG based on the original PC online game ‘TERA,’ which gained great popularity. It boasts excellent graphics, vast battlefields, thrilling combat action, and strategic cooperative play as its strengths. In Korea, the game is serviced by Kakao Games.
‘TERA Classic’ ranked 6th in the Google Play Store’s top-grossing charts domestically and continues to show stable revenue even after more than a year since its release.
‘TERA Classic’ is scheduled to begin official service early next year following the ongoing pre-registration and the upcoming closed beta test (CBT) planned for November.
