The Korea Crime Prevention Awards are given to public institutions, social organizations, and companies that have actively worked to prevent crime in local communities. ADT Caps was highly recognized for its continuous safety campaigns for vulnerable groups such as women and children, contributing to community safety, and received the Commissioner of the National Police Agency Award. This is the fourth time ADT Caps has won in the Corporate Social Contribution category.
As crimes targeting women, such as home intrusion, have been steadily increasing recently, ADT Caps has been conducting a 'Women’s Safety Campaign' to prevent and eradicate such crimes. A representative example is the free provision of the home security product 'Caps Home,' which attaches to front doors, to women living in security-vulnerable areas in cooperation with the Gangbuk Police Station. Additionally, ADT Caps collaborated with the Suseong District Office in Daegu to install crime prevention emergency bell systems in 28 women’s public restrooms within the district.
ADT Caps operates a dedicated professional security team and leads safety education for vulnerable groups at high risk of crime and accidents based on this. Every year, the ADT Caps security team visits schools nationwide to conduct the 'Safety School Campaign,' providing education tailored to children’s perspectives to help them prevent accidents on their own. Since its inception in 2010, approximately 15,000 students have participated in the Safety School Campaign to date.
