President Moon Delivers Response via SNS: "K-Quarantine Is a Result Achieved by All Citizens as Quarantine Agents"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] On the 29th, President Moon Jae-in expressed gratitude for a Korean-language tweet by Tedros, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), saying, "Director-General Tedros, thank you for highly appreciating Korea's efforts in responding to COVID-19," and added, "Especially, the message written in Korean was a great encouragement to our people."
In a post on social networking services (SNS) that day, President Moon stated, "K-quarantine is the result of all citizens becoming participants in quarantine efforts. We will continue to cooperate with the WHO and work together with the international community to overcome COVID-19."
