On the 28th, Changwon National University announced that, through the University Innovation Support Project, it has installed a total of 18 'Shared Lecture Recording Rooms' across eight colleges and the Institute of Creative Convergence Education, and has begun full-scale operation.
The Shared Lecture Recording Rooms are expected to significantly enhance the educational satisfaction of professors and students by supporting the entire process of producing non-face-to-face online classes in a situation where face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes are being conducted concurrently due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Shared Lecture Recording Rooms are equipped with dedicated PCs for recording online video lectures, dual monitors, chroma screens, webcams, lapel microphones, tablets, lighting, tripods, and all the necessary equipment to enable professors to create the highest quality video lectures.
Additionally, through the technical and administrative support of the non-face-to-face class support team at the Institute of Creative Convergence Education and an operational system where students selected from each college collaborate with professors to create lectures, interactive lectures between instructors and students are produced. The Shared Lecture Recording Rooms are used not only for video lecture production but also for major university video conferences.
