Seomin "Daekkaemun, Choo Mi-ae 'that X' is not allowed, but Park Geun-hye 'that X' is okay?"
[Asia Economy reporters Seunggon Han and intern Seulgi Kim] Professor Seomin from Dankook University College of Medicine mocked supporters of President Moon Jae-in on the 28th, saying, "I don't think the 'Ddaekkaemun' (a derogatory term for people who blindly support President Moon Jae-in) have a higher IQ than orangutans."
On the 28th, Professor Seo wrote on his blog, "Orangutans not only understand words but can at least distinguish between what is disadvantageous and advantageous to themselves. However, the 'Ddaekkaemun' are praising the current government that has drastically raised housing prices despite not even owning a home," he said.
Earlier, on the 26th, Professor Seo sparked controversy by saying on his Facebook, "I know Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae well, but she is a master of lies who lied 27 times in that damn National Assembly."
In response, Professor Seo explained on the same day, "Since it was already reported in the news, I didn't bother to edit it, but the 'Ddaekkaemun' swarmed in and left malicious comments," adding, "Calling Minister Choo 'that X' was a typo?I meant to write 'she' but hastily posted it."
He continued, "I have called former President Park Geun-hye 'that X' more than once," and sarcastically added, "To them, all other women are 'that X,' but it is absolutely forbidden to call people like Yoon Mi-hyang and Choo Mi-ae, whom they idolize, 'that X'?that would be disrespectful."
