The snow sculpture was conducted as part of the purpose of the 'Gyeonsaeng Sculpture Exhibition,' a cultural contribution activity by Crown Haitai.
More than 20 frozen snow blocks were sculpted on-site into three-dimensional shapes, creating a unique spectacle that harmonized with the surrounding scenery where the chrysanthemum festival was taking place.
Although the snow sculptures melt and disappear within a day or two, the Gyeonsaeng Sculpture Exhibition will continue until the 15th of next month.
The Gyeonsaeng Sculpture Exhibition, which carries the unique story that "life is born when you see it," has been held since 2016 in collaboration with local governments nationwide under the supervision of Crown Haitai (Chairman Yoon Young-dal) to expand the base of modern sculpture.
The exhibition, showcasing 20 distinctive works by sculptors active nationwide, will be displayed alongside chrysanthemums exhibited at Haenam Gunmin Square, offering a beautiful harmony of art and nature.
