Amorepacific, Non-face-to-face Online Career Mentoring
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Amorepacific (CEO and Chairman Seokyung Bae) announced that it conducted non-face-to-face career mentoring for 50 first- and second-year students at Dongsan Information Industry High School in Nowon-gu over two days, October 27-28.
This career mentoring is a pro bono activity that Amorepacific has been conducting since 2013, utilizing in-house experts and resources to help students with career planning.
Students at Dongsan Information Industry High School who aspire to become future makeup artists used makeup kits provided in advance by Amorepacific to practice with mentors through video sessions.
Amorepacific makeup artists answered students' questions in real time from headquarters and shared makeup know-how, maintaining interactive online communication.
Leveraging this career mentoring, Amorepacific plans to enhance real-time online lectures so that students living in rural areas can easily participate, contributing to resolving educational imbalances centered in the metropolitan area.
