Ministry of Education to Recruit 1,000 Students for Future Education Policy Discussion
From the 29th to the 8th of next month

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Ministry of Education announced that it will recruit 1,000 students to participate in the 'Future Education Policy Discussion' from the 29th of this month until the 8th of next month.
This policy discussion aims to discover creative ideas about future education through direct communication with students, the primary stakeholders in education. The Ministry of Education has announced the 'Top 10 Future Education Policy Tasks' and is currently gathering opinions from teachers, parents, metropolitan and provincial education offices, universities, and experts.
Students who wish to participate can apply by accessing the online application site. The application site can be accessed through the Ministry of Education’s website and social networking services (SNS). After a review process, students will be individually notified of their eligibility to participate.

The policy discussions will be conducted as online small group discussions between the 16th and 29th of next month, with groups of 10 students formed for each of the 10 policy tasks. Ministry of Education staff will participate in each group discussion, and students who submit key opinions will be given opportunities to participate in face-to-face meetings and other events.
