View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Sinan County, Jeonnam (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 27th that it delivered food, infection prevention supplies, and learning materials to out-of-school youth in the area who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, in order to create a stable living environment and help them overcome the situation healthily by ensuring smooth hygiene and personal learning.
This event was further enriched by donated items such as ramen, Hetbahn, and masks from the Sinan Office of Education, providing more substantial support to out-of-school youth and youth using the Youth Counseling Welfare Center in the area, helping them overcome difficult circumstances.
An out-of-school youth who received the supplies said, “We are grateful for the active interest and provision of supplies to us who could be marginalized due to discontinuing our studies,” and added, “I will grow into a respectable member of society so that this support will not be in vain.”
Meanwhile, Sinan County strengthened non-face-to-face counseling via phone and mobile to prevent feelings of depression and boredom among out-of-school youth due to repeated closures caused by COVID-19, and through internet lectures, textbook support, and one-on-one tutoring, three students who took the qualification exam achieved final success.
