[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 26th during the 2020 Q3 earnings conference call that "In the second half of this year, we will launch improved models of Sonata, Elantra, and ix35 in the Chinese market, followed by the release of four new vehicles next year, including Mistra, Tucson, China-exclusive MPV, and a global electric vehicle."
Additionally, Hyundai emphasized a strategy to enhance profitability by improving the dealer network structure and strengthening online sales. A Hyundai official stated, "To fundamentally innovate the dealer network, we will improve the sales mix focusing on new vehicles, strengthen dealer profitability, and simultaneously pursue optimal scale."
