KAMCO Announces Winners of Onbid Promotional Webtoon Contest
Selected 10 Works Including 'Cafe Startup Challenge with Onbid', Total Prize Money of 4.3 Million KRW Awarded
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) announced the results of the ‘Onbid Promotional Webtoon Contest’ held to discover promotional content for Onbid that appeals to all generations on the 26th.
The webtoon contest, held for two months from August 10, was judged by KAMCO’s internal innovation team ‘K-Cube’ based on artistic quality, completeness, creativity, and spreadability. A total of 10 works were selected as winners: 1 Grand Prize, 3 Excellence Awards, and 6 Encouragement Awards.
The Grand Prize was awarded to 'Challenge of Starting a Cafe with Onbid!' which easily and entertainingly expressed the Onbid brand, the advantages of public auctions, and how to use Onbid through the story of a young entrepreneur starting a cafe. Excellence Awards included works such as 'New Life for Sujo,' a webtoon adaptation of an Onbid usage testimonial, '21st Century Modern Filial Daughter,' and 'Would You Like to Greet Us?'.
KAMCO plans to award a total prize money of 4.3 million KRW, including 1 million KRW for the Grand Prize and 500,000 KRW for each Excellence Award winner, and to use the winning works to widely promote Onbid to the public by posting them on the Onbid website and YouTube channel.
