CJ Zemadeb Transports 3 Cars for Ho Chi Minh Line 1
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] CJ Logistics announced on the 26th that CJ Zemadep transported three cars of the Ho Chi Minh Metro Line 1 in Vietnam. CJ Zemadep is a global family company launched by CJ Logistics after acquiring the logistics and shipping division of Zemadep, the largest logistics company in Vietnam.
According to CJ Logistics, CJ Zemadep transported the cars approximately 26 km from District 4's Kinhoi Port to District 9's Long Bien Vehicle Depot in about 4 hours. To transport three electric cars, each 21 meters long and weighing 37 tons, heavy cargo transport equipment including three tractors and three hydraulic modular trailers were deployed.
Ho Chi Minh Metro Line 1 is under construction over a total distance of 19.7 km from Ben Thanh Station in District 1 to Long Bien Station in District 9 (11 above-ground stations and 3 underground stations), with an opening targeted for 2021. CJ Logistics plans to transport a total of 51 electric cars weighing 1,887 tons in time for the completion of Line 1.
