Kibo, National Shared Technology Evaluation System Best Practice Contest
Promoting Private Sector Expansion of Technology Evaluation System Through Nationwide Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 26th that it will hold a 'Technology Evaluation System Utilization Best Practices Contest' targeting citizens who have experience using the Patent Evaluation System (KPAS) and the Technology Evaluation Feedback System (KFIT) to promote the private sector spread of the technology evaluation system.
Since September 2017, Kibo has developed an AI-based Patent Evaluation System (KPAS) that allows rapid evaluation of patent value and has made it freely available to the general public. Additionally, in June of this year, the Technology Evaluation Feedback System (KFIT) was officially launched to provide feedback on technology evaluation results and customized information, offering guarantee companies consulting report-level services such as technology evaluation results, similar technology group analysis information, patent evaluation information, and tailored technology recommendations.
Applications for this contest, which runs from today until the 26th of next month, can be submitted online by writing about how the use of the Patent Evaluation System (KPAS) and the Technology Evaluation Feedback System (KFIT) has improved a company's innovation performance. Representative examples include cases where financial support using KPAS has enhanced corporate performance or reduced costs, or where shortcomings were improved through KFIT leading to successful corporate innovation, among various technology evaluation system utilization cases.
Winners selected as best practices in the contest will receive prize money along with benefits such as corporate promotion support, and participants will be given a chance to win gift certificates through a lottery.
