Andong-si, Recruiting Prospective Tenants for Permanent Rental Apartments ... Okdong Jugong 200 Units
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Andong City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 26th that it is recruiting prospective tenants for 200 units of 13-pyeong (exclusive area 31.32㎡) permanent rental apartments (Okdong Jugong 2) provided by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).
Eligibility requires applicants to be members of a household without a home registered in Andong City as of the recruitment announcement date. Priority is given to livelihood and medical benefit recipients, national merit recipients or their families, victims of Japanese military sexual slavery, single-parent families, North Korean defectors, persons with disabilities, supporters of direct ascendants aged 65 or older, those discharged from child welfare facilities, benefit recipients aged 65 or older, or lower-income groups.
The application period and location are from November 2 to 11 at the administrative welfare centers in the applicant's registered town, township, or neighborhood. Upon verification of income and assets, selected prospective tenants can proceed with contracts and move-in according to their order.
Andong City provides interest-free loans for move-in deposits to livelihood and medical benefit recipients among the prospective tenants of permanent rental apartments every year to stabilize housing for low-income groups. Additionally, the city supports electricity costs for shared facilities such as security lights, stair lights, and elevators.
