Sangju City Hosts National Tourism Photo Contest... Mobile Phone Photos Also Accepted
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] The 12th Sangju Love National Tourism Photo Contest will begin accepting entries on the 26th.
The Sangju Branch of the Korea Photographers Association (Branch Chief Changhee Lee) is organizing a contest over 10 days until the 4th, offering a total prize of 10.9 million KRW to discover photos capturing various scenes of Sangju city. Anyone can participate regardless of region or age.
Submitted works must have been taken since 2019. The content should capture the beauty and charm of Sangju, including tourist attractions, traditional culture, cityscapes, and daily life. Notably, starting from this contest, photo works taken with mobile phones with a file size of 5MB or more will also be accepted.
Sixty-one works will be selected and used as promotional materials to introduce Sangju through various media such as the Sangju city website and SNS.

The contest is hosted by Sangju city and organized by the Sangju Branch of the Korea Photographers Association, held every two years. The 61 selected works this year will be utilized as promotional materials for Sangju through various media including the city’s website and SNS.
