An expert advised, "If you encounter a wild boar, you must remain completely quiet and hide behind nearby rocks or trees without showing your back. If you inevitably make eye contact with a wild boar, do not run or shout; instead, stay calm and still while looking directly into the wild boar’s eyes. Showing your back or appearing scared often triggers wild animals to instinctively attack."
